Slated for Saturday, April 26, 2014, this public community event welcomes all swimmers of all ages for a fun-filled morning. “It’s a great way to train, exercise, show your support for your community, and just have fun!”, says Professional Swimming Coach, Marie White. “Whether you swim recreationally, are on a school or private team, we want you to join us!”.
“This year is extra special as we are recognizing our Honorary Chairpersons, Nikilani Rojas and Fae Torres. Both of them have been selected to represent Hawai’i at the Special Olympics National Games in New Jersey from June 14 – 21, 2014 in aquatics”, says Special Olympics Maui Regional Director, Adrienne Laurion.
- Each entrant must collect a minimum donation entry fee of $35 which includes a commemorative t-shirt and light refreshments.
- Entrants will swim based on their age group and prizes will be awarded in various categories.
- All age categories and swim levels are welcome.
