If the bustle of the holidays has you feeling frazzled, we’ve got the perfect course of action: Bring the family to Golf Fest at the Dunes at Maui Lani. Held Saturday, December 6, 2008 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., this kid-friendly event offers the most precious gift of the season: quality time with the people you love.
Golfers, aspiring and experienced alike, can participate in free lessons and clinics with PGA pros, and try out the sport’s latest equipment. And with live entertainment, food by Café O’Lei, carnival games for the kids, a kite workshop and a bouncing castle, prizes and giveaways, even an old humbug like Scrooge would find plenty at Golf Fest to smile about.
“Golf Fest is a way for the Dunes at Maui Lani to thank the members of our community for their support throughout the year,” says Leona Silva, event coordinator. “And since kids are our future golfers, we want to make them feel welcome and comfortable on the greens.”
Proceeds from the event will help fund scholarships to the Dunes Junior Golf Program, and also benefit the Maui Humane Society. What better way to get into the holiday spirit than by having fun while you give to a worthy cause?
