Hula O Nā Keiki is a solo hula competition for children ages 5-17. Participants are required to learn, interpret, and perform a specific Maui chant. The hula competition is just one facet of a two-day event designed to allow participants the opportunity to learn about and nurture Hawaiian cultural values.

Kā'anapali Beach Hotel is proud to host its 29th annual Hula O Nā Keiki – Maui’s only children’s solo hula competition. This year’s event will be held November 8-9, 2019 in the Kanahele ballroom. Children ages 5 to 17 compete in kahiko (traditional) and ʻauana (modern) style hula, as well as oli (chant) and costume.
