Modeled after the trendiest noodle houses—NYC’s Momofuku and London’s Wagamama—Star Noodle unites big-city style and local flavors in an unlikely locale: Lahaina’s new industrial park. Sit at the communal table and order a bottle of Golden Star sparkling jasmine tea, a worthy indulgence. The rich ramen broth, made from lu‘au pig bones, is extra smoky; the Singapore noodles are bright and flavorful. Daily Ssam (Korean wrap) specials come stuffed with spicy teriyaki chicken, namasu, Waipoli greens, and brown rice. For dessert? A malasada trio.
