Spring Break Ocean Camp: From Screen to Sea
March 15 @ 9:00 AM - March 19 @ 11:00 AM
Pacific Whale Foundation would like to invite keiki in grades 1-5 to join us for our Spring Break session of Ocean Camp: From Screen to Sea! This weeklong session has been thoughtfully designed to explore the week’s theme, Surf the Current, through daily science lessons, team-building games and activities, expressive crafts, and nature-based inquiry. Throughout the week we’ll focus on unraveling some of the mysteries behind an ancient group of marine reptiles, better known as sea turtles.
As the name suggests, Ocean Camp: From Screen to Sea is a hybrid program that allows for campers to learn about the marine environment through both engaging virtual programming and an end of the week in-person private snorkel trip guided by a professional educator with PacWhale Eco-Adventures! One adult is invited to attend the snorkel trip with each camper at no additional cost, as well as one additional adult for only $20 ($16 for PWF members). The cost of the program is $100 per week ($80 for PWF Members.)
While we always strive to include as many young ocean stewards as we can, due to the nature of these particular programs, each session will accommodate a maximum of 15 campers. Early registration is strongly encouraged, so reserve your keiki’s spot today at pacificwhale.org/education/ocean-camp.
