Ocean Camp is back for fall break (Oct 5-9) with a new, hybrid program! To continue bringing your keiki engaging educational content about the marine environment while remaining safe, we’re keeping Ocean Camp online Monday through Thursday, and will meet in-person on Friday for a safe and socially distant boat trip. Through the generosity of PWF Members and donors who subsidized much of the overall cost of this program, campers may invite one adult on the boat trip free of charge, and one adult at a discounted rate!

Monday – Thursday: online lessons from 9:00 AM to approximately 11:00 AM

Friday: 3-hour private boat trip departing out of Ma’alaea Harbor at 8:30 AM (check-in time is 7:45am at PWF’s Ma’alaea Ocean Store)

Throughout the week we will dive into daily science lessons, team-building games and other activities, expressive crafts, and nature-based inquiry. Online lessons feature 1.5-2 hours of face-to-face engagement via a password-protected online visual communication platform that encourages group participation. In addition, campers will be provided with optional daily projects that can be completed away from the computer, and shared with the group the following day.
