Celebrate Earth Day at Moku Roots at Lahaina Gateway for a prix fixe taro-themed dinner on Friday, April 22 at 5pm. Meals are $75 per person with $10 of every ticket and $5 of every cocktail sold donated to Rotary Club of Lahaina Sunset to fund scholarships for Maui and Moloka’i students entering environmental studies programs. Guests can also enjoy a live performance by Grammy and Hoku Award-winning artist, George Kahumoku Jr.

The dinner menu will feature a tarostada, taro pave on local mixed greens, coconut taro leaf bisque with a taro roll, blackened “tarofu” with kabocha and yuca spread and finish with a warm taro brownie with taro vanilla “nicecream.”
