IMPORTANT UPDATE: EVENT POSTPONED
In Hawai‘i, we take care of one another. That’s one reason Hawai’i is a safe place to live and work.
We want to keep it that way. And so, in response to the gravity of COVID-19, we reluctantly decided to postpone the 2020 ‘Aipono Restaurant Awards Gala, originally scheduled for April 3 at The Ritz-Carlton, Kapalua. While we’re disappointed, keeping everyone healthy is our priority.
To all of you who have purchased tickets to this benefit for UH-Maui’s Culinary Arts Program, mahalo nui. Rest assured that the gala will take place once the challenge of the coronavirus is over. Your table and ticket reservations will simply move forward to the new date. Your understanding and kōkua are greatly appreciated. Together, we will get through this trying time.
Although the Gala is postponed, the presses will not stop. The ʻAipono Awards will be announced in our May/June issue as planned. Congratulations go out to each and every one of our winners.
We look forward to celebrating with you in style at the ‘Aipono Restaurant Awards Gala soon. The new date will be announced in cooperation with our partners, UH-Maui Culinary Arts Program, Chambers & Chambers Wine Merchants, and The Ritz-Carlton, Kapalua.
