  • 2 pounds sashimi-grade ‘ahi, diced into ½-inch cubes
  • Hawaiian sea salt, to taste
  • 1 Hawaiian chili pepper, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • 2 tablespoons limu lipoa, chopped
  • ¼ pound inamona (roasted kukui nut), optional
  • 1 pound green onion, chopped
  • 1 Maui onion, diced small

Method: Place ʻahi cubes in a mixing bowl. Season with sea salt. Add next four ingredients and mix gently. Fold in green onion and Maui onion. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
